Members of SC APLA met at the South Carolina Library Association’s annual conference in Columbia. Other events at the conference included presentations by Keith Michael Fiels, Executive Director of the American Library Association, and poet Kwame Alexander, as well as an all conference reception at EdVenture Children’s Museum.

Items on the meeting agenda included a discussion of APLA’s legislative agenda for the upcoming year and the strategic planning process that APLA is currently engaged in.
